I’m still kicking myself that I met Philip Reeve and completely forgot to bring my copy of Railhead along to get signed. The sillhouette piece of the Damask Rose was an earlier work in order to try out this style in a sci-fi context and it’s had some great feedback. Reeve has created a fantastic universe of such variety that it would be difficult to run out of things to draw.
I followed it up with the painted piece below. Intended as part of a series, the rail map motif would be used throughout.
