Well, I’ve finally gotten around to fixing my website and I’ve realised just how good the default 202* WordPress themes are. Hopefully I won’t suffer another database catastrophe again any time soon – and I’ll certainly be keeping good backups from now on.
On the other hand, this whole affair has given me the opportunity to rejig the whole site and make it look a bit more professional.
Firstly, I’d like to introduce Bish Bosh (or is it BishBosh?) Books – nothing too official, but it’s the label under which I’ve published Inn from the cold, A Christmas Carol and Just so stories (The Squeeping Catterwhip is under Michael’s ‘Sluggish Flush Press).
Bish and Bosh were two lovely rescue cats who were lost in 2020 following illness and I felt that their names deserved to live on, and of course they featured on the closing pages of The Squeeping Catterwhip.
I’m not sure what my next project will be – possibly something related to the Shang Dynasty as this is a project I’m working on for my day job and there’s very little published for children, especially fiction and folktales.In the meantime I’ll be adding posts and pictures from the archives, and possibly adding some posts about the arcade cabinet build I’ve been tinkering with over the last couple of months.
